school work's coming along fine. just finished our TVC project..manage to get through without getting screwed by our lecturer..hehe.. now left with our MIDI & voice over project.
its been a long while since i've come across someone who made me feel for her. i dunno how & why..but i just now that she evokes this certain feeling that i haven't felt for a very long time. i miss it. but i don't know if anything will come out of it. alot of question marks at the moment.
album post production is still underway. we're trying to get the photoshoot done before we start laying out the cd sleeve designs, as well as the press kit. only when the sleeve designs r out can we send the cd for mastering & printing. to those who've been patiently waiting for the album, i sincerely apologize. i promise u, it'll be worth the wait.
planning a few pre-launch gigs as well with the guys from mistaken identity. first up will be a showcase at republic poly on 15th oct. really looking forward to it.
final official launch will be held at.....well, somewhere nice & reputable.

t'was a long & tiring day yesterday. played at the F1 power boat race grand prix & i gotta say this. it must've been the worst gig we've ever played. PERIOD.
firstly, the stage was so goddamn small we hardly had any room to move about. for me, i was sandwiched ib between the drum kit & the edge of the stage..~ 2ndly, my guitar amp kept on giving me problems. halfway thru the song, the volume will just drop by itself & i couldn't hear any of my playing.
the sound screw was also horrid. i think they have this 'got sound, can liao' mentality. after watching us setup, they just pushed a few knobs & R.O.C. even when the sound was giving us hiccups, they couldn't even be bothered to check out wat was wrong! gawd...the guys from boon's studio do a MUCH better job ANYTIME...
lastly, the organizing management screwed us over big time. we were supposed to have 2 seperate 1hr sets. when we reached there half-an-hr before our first set, this caucasion guy called Luke told us that our set's being pushed later. NVM. before we went up, he said we could only play 3 songs & we had to keep the volume low. ridiculous ain't it?!?! but the best part was when we just finished our 2nd song, Luke told us to get off the stage to make way for the cartoonist to entertatin the kids there. i mean, WTF?!?! where's ur bloody sense of courtesy??? they absolutely had no respect for the bands playing there.
all the while we were there, they didn't even bother to get us a bottle of mineral water. eric & i shared a cup of beer @ $5...~bleah.
played on the 2nd set for only 30mins. sound was still as screwed as ever. after the 4th song, i totally had no heart to play on. playing to an almost empty crowd was one thing but playing under the circumstances that we were being taken for granted was another. i couldn't wait to get out of that place.
really appreciate Neil, Joshua, Wayne, Kenny, Cherie, Zhigao & Jyn for being there to watch us thru our 2 sets. thanx guys.
went to zouk later that night. felt really boring somehow. no mood to dance or do anything. was just content watching ppl go by..dancing..drinking.. it was like life went slow-mo for a few moments.
yes, i'm still alive & kicking ppl. its gonna be an exciting week ahead as we're gonna kick into overdrive for the album preps. if everything falls into place, you'll be hearing/seeing quite a bit of us...
