think its best to describe wat happened a little on the launch day..too bad i dun have any pics taken..would've been much better...
arrived at Rouge around 2pm with gear in tow together with Arthur. weather was pretty hot then. jon from mistaken identity was already there before us as he called to ask where i was. steve met us at the entrance before we proceeded up to the club. Ice(the sound guy) was setting up all the equipment while we chilled for a while. was weird to see a club fully lit during the day..
when we all first saw eric, we couldn't help but just go over & rub his bald head. the guy looks so like a monk!! hehe..but really glad he managed to get out of tekong despite the circumstances.
spent the next few hrs getting all the things ready as well as running thru the sound check. decided to have a quick dinner at burger king before heading back to wait for ppl to turn up. by 7pm+, a few of our friends were already starting to arrive. the anticipation started to grow. i was getting a little nervous & i can't remember how many trips to the toilet i made! haha...
by 8.45pm, the lounge area was pretty much filled to the brim. i actually got leg cramps during those few minutes. that was how nervous i got! soon, the doors to the main dance floor opened. got the guys huddled up in a corner near the stage, out of everyone's sight. i actually said a little short prayer for everyone before we proceeded on with the opening video(which Kenny did, an excellent piece of art if i must say).
for the rest of the night, i'll sum it up in the next few words:
we went, we played, we blew the roof wide open.

i just had a dream about her last night. it felt so surreal. i dreamt that we were back together..living our lives happily like nothing had ever happened. i dreamt of us going out & just enjoying each other's time..smiles all around.
what felt like a year all happened in one night.
then, i awoke.
i don't know why this is happening.

due to a last minute change in Rouge's club policy, there will be a cover charge of $25 ONLY AFTER 9pm on the night of our album launch. So, to avoid paying such a hefty sum, do try your best to come between 8pm to 8.30pm.
If you do foresee yourself not being able to make it on time, do reply this email with your full name & we will add you to the guest list so that you will be granted entry minus the cover charge. of course, if you were actually planning on coming late, shame on you! you'll be missing out on the really cool opening video we have in store for all you guys! ;)
