i had a dream of someone i thought i'd never dream about last night. in actual fact, we almost had something going on. i thought things would turn out fine. a confession was made. then one day, she just vanished. tried as i might to contact her, no replies & no answers. till this day, i remain bitter.
wat u see above are screenshots of the music video/short film for '12:17', as directed by kenny. its also probably the last time we'll ever get to work with the Nightsound team. its been a labour of love for the entire crew, where everyone put in their best & slogged it out for 3 full days(4 for some of us). especially after many months of pre-production prep work, to finally see the finished product is one heck of a feeling.
was really glad my sis, andrew & ariel could help me out by making a little cameo apperance. of course, ariel wouldn't object since she still can't talk.
but u gotta admit, my niece is super buay tahan cute. wahaha. :wink:
the video has been submitted for the panasonic digital video competition. hopefully, it gets shortlisted..or better still, top 3...
ok, this is crappy. someone just grabbed a porcupine & stuffed it up my ass & nuked the whole place apart.
i can't take it? i still can't digest it no matter how much i try to. its just simply impossible! and to think not too long ago everyone's spirits were high & seemed as though things would be going good for everyone. now, the picture has been totally off-skewed.

yup..its confirmed. heading to aus in oct. just need to settle a few more admin stuff & i'll be ready. will miss some things here but hey, its all good. something new to look forward to.
so many people i wanna catch up with. alot of old friends i've somewhat neglected over the years. now, i'm busier with work, the band & other mundane occupancies of my life. will i ever get organized?
had a personal chat with zhigao the other night with regards to love, relationships & memories. good to know that he's finally with the one girl he's been chasing for the past 2 years. all that hard work & effort finally paid off. in the midst of it all, started to reminisce. i'm pretty much still a sad fuck trying to deal with his shit for the past 4 years. how sad can that be?
devilman the movie, as impressive as the trailer might look, is utter crap. totally cringe-worthy acting & dialogue, i can't believe they actually bothered to even make it. http://www.devilmanthemovie.j...
oh, the soundtrack for Casshern is absolutely haunting. :wink:
the band just played a last min gig outside zouk for some charity event called Milk Run as a guest band. as Arthur was deployed for action due to the olympics meeting & all, we had to find a stand-in session player to cover 4 songs within 3 to 4 days. thankfully, Jun(formerly from Genexis) agreed to help. was quite impressed he managed to nail down at least 90% of all the songs.
the weather for the gig was horrid. everyone was practically sweating their butts off & on the verge of dehydrating. i almost fainted. parking lot pimp & bonafide were there as well so at least, it seemed like a justifiable event to play at. the perfect10 & class95 crew was there as well. hope we left some sort of an impression on them. interestingly enough, it suddenly rained halfway when we were playing 'perception'. odd eh? overall, despite the sucky organzing management & handling of the bands, the response was quite encouraging. though i strongly suspect that the kids were cheering for us to get off the stage & make way for the st. nicholas girls school dance team. oh well..~
p.s.:thanks alot for taking time out to session for us Jun. was fun jamming alongside with ya ;)

finally, the 12:17 video shoot is over. after all the months of planning, late nights, coffee, instant noodles with kenny, zhigao & zhicao, its finished. we shot the video over a period of 3 days. the toughest was prob the 2nd day. everyone got burnt to a crisp under the smouldering kranji reservoir sun. & i think i'll prob have a phobia of the word 'dolley' & 'tracking shot'. haha. but overall, we all had fun, both the cast & crew. now, we just gotta wait for kenny to edit finish the footage. think it'll turn out really good, sans my crappy hair...~

just handled a bunch of sec2 kids today. will be conducting my own classes 3 weeks from now. the kids all seem rather rowdy, like most sec sch kids i guess. just hope i can control them better & not lose my temper. i tend to get quite anal when i'm angry. only gripe i prob have now abt the job is the travelling distance. toa payoh leh!! wah kaoz...
